A Little Italy in Atlanta
When David and Anna told me they wanted to bring a little slice of Italy to Atlanta for their engagement session, I knew we were in for something special. These two share such a beautiful, down-to-earth connection, and their love for simple joys—gaming, traveling, and sipping espressos—made this session so much fun to capture. We decided to mix film and digital photography to give their photos a timeless, romantic feel, and it couldn’t have been a better choice for the vibe they envisioned.
We started at the iconic Westside Provisions bridge, which gave us such a cozy, European-inspired backdrop to set the tone for the day. From there, we strolled over to the cutest coffee shop, where David and Anna enjoyed their espresso moment (because what’s an Italian-inspired session without a good coffee stop?). I loved watching them share laughs over their cups, like it was just another regular day spent together—so natural, so easy.
Next up, we wandered over to Jeni’s Ice Cream, because why not add a little sweetness to the day? It was such a fun stop, and I got to see their playful side as they enjoyed their ice cream together. Afterward, we wrapped up the session at the Bellyard Hotel, a charming boutique spot that gave us the perfect city skyline views. It was the perfect way to tie everything together—Atlanta views with that romantic, European vibe they were going for.
Getting to know David and Anna was such a joy. I loved hearing about how they met, their love for gaming marathons, and the adventures they dream of taking as they travel the world together. They brought so much of themselves into this session, and it made every photo feel unique and true to who they are.
David and Anna, thank you for letting me document your story in such a beautiful way. I hope when you look back at these photos, you’ll feel all the joy, love, and connection that made this day so special—like a little trip to Italy, right here in Atlanta.
